A wedding show is not a smaller festival show. It is a story about two people, told to the 150 who know them. For a wedding in Greece we drew the couple's travels in the sky, and combined drones with water projection for the first time. For a birthday in Montenegro, thirteen minutes of one life. The guests do not need a logo; they need to recognise the moment.
We storyboard it with you, in private. Client names stay secret if you want them to; two of the shows below are listed as exactly that.
How many drones
Fewer drones, closer
Intimacy changes the maths. A private show is seen from a terrace, a beach or a lawn, from close by. Our weddings and birthdays flew with 200 drones and read perfectly for 150 guests. We prefer a minimum of 100; below that, shapes stop being shapes. Beyond that you are paying for distance you do not have.
Length matters more than count: our private shows ran 12 to 13 minutes, long enough for a story with a beginning, a middle and a reveal.
Venue & airspace
Can it fly where you are getting married?
Most private shows happen at a villa, a beach, an estate or a resort, which is exactly the kind of site drones like: open space, a water edge, a clear sky and few neighbours. We need a take-off area guests do not walk through, a sightline from where they will stand, and airspace that is not next to an airport.

What it takes
Lead time, site, permits, cost
No fixed price list exists. Most shows fall between 100 and 1,000+ drones. The four factors below decide the rest. Read how drone show cost works.
- Lead time
- About a month once the venue is fixed; longer abroad, where the approval goes through a foreign aviation authority. Start when you book the venue and you are early.
- Site
- A take-off area guests do not walk through, a clear line to the sky from where they will stand, and ideally water or open ground in front. Estates, beaches and resort lawns work well.
- Permits
- We apply for the airspace approval for that venue and evening and coordinate with the venue and, where needed, local partners. Near airports we ask for an exemption; it takes time, not miracles.
- What drives cost
- Number of drones, show length, location and permits, and how custom the animation is. A wedding show is a custom story, so design hours count more than for a logo. How cost works.

How much does a wedding drone show cost?
There is no fixed price. Four factors set it: the number of drones (private shows usually fly around 200), the show length (12 to 13 minutes is typical), the location and its permits, and how custom the animation is. How many drones do we need for 150 guests?
Around 200 has been our number for weddings and birthdays of that size, seen from close by. We prefer a minimum of 100 drones so shapes stay legible. More drones buy visibility at distance, which a private venue rarely needs.
Can the show tell our story, not a template?
That is the only kind we fly. We build a narrative arc from your story, whether that is how you met, where you travelled or the person you are celebrating, and show you a video render before the wedding so there are no surprises.
Can you fly at our villa, beach or resort abroad?
Usually. We have flown private shows in Greece, Montenegro and Cabo San Lucas. We need clear airspace, a take-off area away from guests and an approval from the local aviation authority, which we arrange. Send the venue and we check it first.
Will our guests hear it, and what about the weather?
Drones are low-noise once at operating height; the music is the loudest thing. They handle a few drops of rain and wind up to 25 mph (40 km/h). The pilot decides on the night. We plan a weather window and, where the programme allows, a back-up slot.
