Drone Stories

The LV monogram over Victoria Harbour

Louis Vuitton in Hong Kong

For Pharrell’s first Pre-Fall collection as creative director of Louis Vuitton, and the house’s first show in Hong Kong, 1,000 drones flew the finale over Victoria Harbour.

The finale

The show took place on Hong Kong’s Avenue of Stars. As the collection came to its end, the drones rose over the harbour, drew a junk boat, the symbol of Hong Kong, and turned into the Louis Vuitton monogram above the skyline.

Under the Studio DRIFT label

Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn designed the aerial performance especially for this collection, which travelled from Hawaii to Hong Kong with themes of water and the passing of time. Like many of our art performances, it flew under the name of Studio DRIFT, our sister studio.

Let’s collaborate

Have a story that belongs in the sky?

Tell us the event, the place and the audience. Together we'll work out whether a drone show makes the impact you're after, and what it takes.
